Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) & Cellulosic EthanolWorking with industry leaders to produce Green Hydrogen, Advanced Cellulosic Alcohols, SAF and other Renewable Products From Cellulosic BiomassEnsyn is working with Linde and LanzaTech to evaluate the commercial production of green hydrogen, cellulosic ethanol, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and other renewable products from cellulosic biomass.
This alliance integrates the three respective technologies, each independently commercialized:
Linde is a global leader in industrial gases & engineering. LanzaTech is a global technology leader in conversion of carbon waste streams to advanced cellulosic alcohols, cellulosic materials, SAF, diesel and hydrogen. |
The Ensyn/Linde/LanzaTech Biomass-to-SAF low carbon pathway represents an integration of independently-proven technologies and experienced partners. The pathway incorporates significant geographic flexibility, decoupling biomass feedstock source from syngas production, and allowing the ability to transport bio-ethanol to the SAF production location of choice. It also allows one to optimize location of processing units in favorable economic and regulatory environments, taking into account proximity to oxygen networks and off-take markets. |
