Mr. Torrens runs Ensyn Fuels, Ensyn’s wholly-owned subsidiary responsible for marketing Ensyn’s RFO heating fuels and Biocrude refinery feedstock. Lee joined Ensyn’s senior management team in 2010 and brings to Ensyn over 40 years of business development in the biomass and waste-to-energy industries.
Prior to joining Ensyn, Lee was Director of Western Development at Adage, a joint venture between Duke Energy and Areva, where he was responsible for the development of large-scale biomass projects in North America. Over the course of his career, Lee has commissioned over $900 million worth of biomass and waste to energy assets, for both private and public companies.
Lee received both his Bachelor of Civil Engineering and Masters of Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska.
