RENEWABLE CHEMICALS

Food Ingredients

More than 30 different food ingredients are currently produced from Ensyn’s RTP liquids

Ensyn initiated commercial operations in the food industry in 1989, producing RTP liquids for the production of food and flavoring ingredients for Red Arrow Products Company LLC, of Wisconsin. Since 1989, Ensyn has designed, built and delivered multiple commercial units to Red Arrow, five of which are in operation today. Ensyn's technology has provided Red Arrow with a significant competitive advantage, helping Red Arrow become the dominant producer in its industry.

Ensyn continues to be responsible for oversight of Red Arrow's units and earns operating and maintenance fees for these services.

In 2015, Red Arrow was acquired by the Kerry Group, the global taste & nutrition and consumer foods group.  Ensyn is now collaborating with Kerry by continuing to provide operations and management services. To learn more about Kerry, click here.

Other Renewable Chemicals

Ensyn is collaborating with several third parties in the identification, commercialization and production of additional renewable chemicals produced using Ensyn’s technologies.  Ensyn welcomes inquiries from third parties concerning cooperation in the development of value-added chemicals from its patented process.

Food Industry
RTP facilities have been in continuous commercial use since 1989 in Rhinelander, Wisconsin producing liquids from wood residues for the food industry.

Other Renewable Chemicals
Numerous industrial and specialty chemicals in RTP liquids  have been identified and demonstrated by Ensyn and its partners.
