Geoff Hopkins

Geoffrey D. Hopkins 
​Senior Vice President, Technology


Mr. Hopkins joined Ensyn in 1994 as Project Engineer to assist in the design, construction, and commissioning of RTP® plants.  With over twenty years of fast pyrolysis experience he has been instrumental in the application of Ensyn’s technology in several industries, including renewable chemicals, fuels, and heavy oil upgrading.  Today, Geoff has a leadership role in Ensyn’s projects and he continues to work closely with UOP, Ensyn’s partner in the Envergent joint venture. 

​Mr. Hopkins, a registered Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario, holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University at Kingston.  He has co-authored several patents related to RTP and its products.
