Vinicius Nonino
Mr. Nonino is Executive Director, New Business at Suzano A/S. he was previously head of Strategy and Mergers and Acquisitions at Fibria Celulose S.A. Over the past 20 years, Vinicius has occupied a number of senior positions in chemical, management consulting and forestry businesses.
Vinicius worked with the Votorantim Group (one of the major industrial groups in Brazil and one of the major shareholders of Fibria) for over 10 years. He has been with Fibria since 2007, where he played a leading role in the integration of VCP and Aracruz, forming the largest pulp player in the world and capturing more than USD 2 Billion in synergies. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Veracel (pulp mill JV between Fibria and Stora Enso in Brazil) and BPM (sawmill JV between Fibria and Weyerhaeuser in Brazil).
He received his BA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, the most prestigious business school in Latin America and holds an MBA from New York University.
