PREMIUM RENEWABLE ENERGY
Ensyn has established a joint venture with Premium Renewable Energy (Malaysia), a Malaysian renewable energy development company, regarding renewable energy projects in Malaysia and Indonesia. The joint venture involves the conversion of palm and bagasse residues to RTP Renewable Fuel Oil (RFO) product. The RFO product will then be used for power generation, heating and for upgrading to transport fuels. The first project is to be located in Felda Sahabat, Sabah. Ensyn and Premium estimate that over ten 400 ton per day RTP plants could be required in Malaysia by 2015, with an equal number possible for Indonesia, solely for the palm industry.
Ensyn’s patented RTP technology uses heat to thermally crack carbon-based feedstocks into high yields of a higher-value liquid product.
Ensyn has active projects utilizing its technology on three continents.
